Yes, I was sent this reference. This has been taken from the back of the main book (they
say) because they do not know what connection it has to what is written in the main part
of the book.
I was wondering if there was anything in the main part of the book about the Caslers that
showed up on the 1800 census as being near to the only Herkimer Kellers (who were on pages
450 and 449) . Adam Casler was on page 452, John Casler was on 448, John Casler on 452,
Melcher Casler on 448, Melsher Casler 452, Richard Casler on 453, and Richard Junr. Casler
on 448. I believe one of these to be Catharina's father. I do not believe there is
even a Casper Casler anywhere. The whole census index doesn't show that a Casper
Casler even exists. We eliminated some Catherina Caslers in the area who were born in
1807 and 1802. We think our gal who married our John Keller in 1823 may have been born
1803.
What does the main book say about these possible father Caslers?
