Samuel Caskey's Will was made 8 Nov 1832 in Goshen Twn., Orange Co., NY.
The Will starts on page 550 of Book I for 1833.
Martin Caskey, son, James Siddles, son-in-law, were named Executors.
Surrogate was John B. Booth.
Daughter, Jane Siddles, w/o James Siddles, received his large Bible, square
table, silver spectacles and also his large clothes cupboard.
Grandaughter, Jane Dunning, w/o Solomon Dunning, received a sum of ten
dollars.
Samuel C. Bouce, received a sum of ten dollars.
Grandson, Martin Siddles, received his silver ?Stock Buckle?.
Grandson, Henry C. Middaugh, son of his daughter, Huldah Middaugh, deceased,
received a sum of ten dollars.
Son, Martin Caskey, received a piece of land which belonged to his son,
Samuel D. Caskey, deceased in his life time, owned lying adjoining to the
easterly sides of said Martin Caskey's land.
To his son, Martin Caskey, and daughter, Jane Siddles, all the rest of
my real-estate, lands tenements and whatever, equally to be divided between
them. All the rest of his personal estates, goods and chattels and credits
whatsoever, hegive s to his son, Martin Caskey, and to his son-in-law,
James Siddles, equally to be divided between them.
Samuel's will was probated in Goshen Twn., Orange Co., NY 29 Oct 1833.
Samuel's assumed birth is about 1755 but no proof exsists of his true birth.
He died in the fall of 1833.
He married Sarah Decker who died 27 Jul 1796.
