Hello All,
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I am the new administrator
of this mailing list.
I would like to kick things off with a ROLL AND BRICKWALL call. So
please post your ancestors and most of all let us know what your
BRICKWALLS are.
The Mailing List THREE GOLDEN RULES.
#1. BE NICE. No flaming of others or nasty criticisms of posts.
#2. KEEP ON TOPIC. By that I mean genealogy. No virus reports, or
commercial advertising, etc. Rootsweb has lists for many topics to
serve all needs.
#3. HAVE FUN!
Helpful Hint: Remember to change the Subject Line when you reply to
this message with your own surnames. :-)
If you have any questions or comments that do not belong on-list please
contact me at: jasche45133(a)aol.com.
Sincerely,
Joan Asche
Samuel W CASKEY b.1879 PA; d.?
m.Lizzie Hannah BROWN 9, April 1901 Allegheny, PA
Lizzie b.1882 Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England; d.?
Children: Samuel b.1907; Hannah T b.1909; Walter W b.1911; Victor ? b.1913;
Eugene W b.1916; Emma M b.1920; Ruth L b.1922; Harry b.1925
I believe some of these children may have died between 1920 and 1930 as they
are not in the 1930 census.
Samuel (jr) I believe married an Irma b.1904, they had one child that I know
of, Irma b.1928
Samuel (sr) had a brother named Edward S b.1894 and I believe their father
was also a Samuel W.
My interest is mainly with Lizzie's line but I am trying to locate any
existing family members of the CASKEY'S to help shed some light on things.
