I knew a Polly Cashion who was kin to us and I remember her visiting us from
KY.
We lived in WV and I believe that Polly was my Grandfather's cousin. Will
look further if anyone is interested.

How fortunate anyone is to know their father. Mine died very young in
1940
of an illness.. Perhaps that is why I don't know my Cashion kin. It was
too
painful for mother to talk of
him or his family, and she never re-married.
I am having to rebuild my Cashion family, based soley on the marriage of
Franklin Cashion and Hannah Elizabeth Harris, late 1800's. That marriage
is recorded in Jackson Co, IL.
Hoping to find a Cashion family with a Franklin who moved to southern IL.

but I sure am interested in all of this. I remember my Daddy talking
about
a Polly Cashion, but I do not know anymore than that. See, my Daddy
was
44
when I was born, so I was sort of like an only child out of 5 others.
Their
first child, Billy, drown when he was 12. I do know that there was a
Howard
Cashion, Jay Cashion, Avery Cashion, Jack Cashion, Henry C. Cahion,
Henry
B.
Cashion, Carrie Cashion, Hattie Cashion Compton, Eula Cashion
Smith......and
more, I just cannot remember names. This coming Saturday is a very
sad
time
for me, Daddy would have turned 88. Along with Mothers Day being a
hard
time for me, too. Since Daddy left me in August and Mama left in December
life has been very tough. Any info you have I would greatly appreciate
receiving. Kathy Cashion Burdette
