They might be descendants of our "Mr. Cashdollar and son John" who married
Catherine: One of their sons Joseph moved to Licking Co. and married a woman named Mahala
Potts. Perhaps, one of their kids was named George or Frederick, but we don't have
tht information.
The George we have is a different person and I find no specific reference to a Frederick.
Do your records track your Cashdollar line backward to a "Mr. Cashdollar and his son
John" back to about 1730 or so here in the United States? That's as far back as
we can get the Cashdollar name and are desparate to find some RELIABLE lead to another
country (Germany, Scotland, ????).
We also have this (but there's no real proof). "History of Butler Co., Penn.
pub. 1909 pages 1117-1118." also "History of Butler Co., Vol II pub 1895".
This article listed a short history of William S. Cashdollar who was CASHDOLLAR'S
great grandson. The 2nd paragraph of the article is as follows: "The
great-grandfather of William S. Cashdollar came to America from Germany and the
grandfather came to Butler County from some point on the Ohio River." The
grandfather is John who married Catherine and had 5 children, John, Jacob, Joseph, William
and Rosanna who married Samuel Black.
Anything more at your end to link your information to ours?
Thanks.
