According to the information that I have traced through a lot of family
research, William Cash of Scotland (b. 1625) was the uncle of William Cash
who settled in Virginia.
Hope you will have the time to take a look at my web site at

Subject: Re: [CASH-L] Cash info.
Can anyone confirm this? I've gotten info on the internet that
William
Cash
had an Uncle named William, not a father, unless his grandparents
were
unimaginative.
Thanks,
Tara Campbell-Walton
Hi Tara,
All of the information I have is VERY contrary to what you found
today. Where did you find it?
All of my sources say that William had an Uncle William who settle in
MA, married to another Elizabeth, and they formed that branch of the
family. This William was not the father of the William Cash that
married Elizabeth Skinner, he was the uncle.
Can you tell me where you found the new info that says otherwise?
I'd like to check into it.
Thanks!
Irene Cash
