Elizabeth "Beth" Wheeler Campbell
Elizabeth "Beth" Wheeler Campbell, 66, formerly of Longview Drive,
Collinsville, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Mt. Valley Eldercare. She was born
July 12, 1943, in Amherst County to the late Charlie Thomas and Lacy
Bowling Wheeler.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Danny Ray and
Kenneth Wayne Campbell, one brother, Wayne Wheeler, and one sister,
Dorothy Beresford.
She was a licensed cosmetologist, having graduated from Allen's Beauty
College. She was owner and operator of City Wig and Hat Boutique for over 20
years. She attended the Church of God.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy M. and Jeanette
Campbell of Danville and Troy D. and Linda Campbell of Collinsville; two
sisters, Jean Brown of Dunedin, Fla., and Billie Bibb of Monroe; one
sister-in-law, Mildred Wheeler, of Piney River; four granddaughters, Brandy
Blackstock of Ringold, Amber Dollarhite of Appomattox, Tiffany Campbell of Danville
and Lauren Campbell of Collinsville; and three great-grandchildren, Emily
Blackstock, Christian Blackstock and Abigail Blackstock, all of Ringold.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, in
the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Bobby Haynes officiating. Interment will
follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8
p.m. today, Sept. 4, 2009, in the Chapel at Roselawn and at other times at the
home of her son on 622 Mangrum Road, Danville
