List,
All you Casey researchers would do well to join The Casey Family Association,
based in Okla. City. They will be having a reunion in Springfield, Mo. in
June. I want you to know that this is a good one. The first one that I went
to, I took my Casey research papers & book with me, thinking after all, I had
a lot of stuff and surely everyone would be interested in what I had. When I
walked in, here is more than a hundred people with research books piled in
front of them 4" thick! (Gulp, reality time) So I decided that I would sit
on my paperwork, hoping no one would spot them. <G> They will be having a
lunch and dinner on Sat., then on Sunday, will have breakfast at Silver
Dollar City at Branson Mo., where there is the oldest surviving Casey log
cabin in the state, after that they will tour the area by bus where there are
a lot of Casey cemeterys. Cameras and shaving cream is in order, and so is a
sack lunch as this tour lasts all day. This Assn. has members all over the
US, so don't be bashful if you live in Hong Kong. They have these meetings
every two yrs. and in a different place everytime.
If anyone is interested contact Mike Casey at; cfa(a)swbell.net
Vonda, if you are reading this please give the dates, because I can't find my
Quarterly.
See Ya there,
Wanda Norman
