I think this was okay - at least it gives an idea of who is going to the
reunion, and who is not, and who to contact for followup information about
the gathering. I never find any communication from a potential cousin a
waste of time.
Also, I believe a part of the function of this list would be to be develop
comradeship - these are the folks that would be the first to help you in
your quest for information and celebrate your successes. Anyone not
interested in information on the subject can hit the delete key, which I
have done many times.
