I did find this on a Wm Casey--------
From the book:
Biography of MONTGOMERY, JOHN, 1717-1802
Biography of John Montgomery (1717-1802); a civil leader instrumental in
drafting
resolutions that eventually helped lead up to the Declaration of Independence;written by
Agnes Graham Sanders Riley
John Montgomery's brother William, born probably in 1730, never
attained the position in the government of Virginia long enjoyed by
John, but moved continually as western lands were opened. The
survey for Fincastle County on January 24, 1774 shows William to
have owned land in the Holston River area. After the marriage
of his daughter, Anne, to Benjamin Logan and his daughter,
Elizabeth's marriage to Joseph Russell, William Montgomery moved
his own family in 1779 to Kentucky. In Kentucky his younger daughter, Jane,
married William Casey and thus became the direct ancestor of Samuel
Clemens.
