Hi,
I have information on a Hiram Casey that was born 23 March 1790. The
researcher that sent me this information believes this Hiram to be born
in Spartanburg, Edgefield Dist., South Carolina. I have been able to
verify that this family was indeed in Spartanburg. I wondered if there
might be a connection because the lines dividing North Carolina from
South Carolina were not really firm before the 1800's. The area was
referred to as the Carolina's. This family is part of the Abner Brooks
Casey family. Hiram was a common name in this family. I have some
information if you think there may be a connection. Also, I have the
name of another researcher who has done extensive research on this
family.
Let me know if you would like additional information.
