This is all very interesting and I would certainly like to know what the
source is! By that I mean exactly what kind of ledgers they are, who created
them and why? I guess we will probably never know. There seems to be Caseys
from many different lines. My Jesse E Casey is there as is his son Anthony
Casey and a couple of his descendants (William U Casey and his son James
Marion Casey). There are other names I recognize and some I have never seen
before. I would be interested and knowing who all those Caseys are. If
anyone has info on any of them please contact me at: vondad(a)aol.com.

All I know is that he copied the pages---they are almost illegible, but
there are headings for the
columns that state Doc-Page;Entry;Type. The dates born were said to be
approx. Then in the first
volume there was a column that said copy service/ YorN (after that volume,
it disappeared). Then last
heading says Number of Pages.
I do not have a clue about these---they were buried in some of his papers
and he can't remember the
details except they were some type of ledgers----so lotsa luck, folks!!!
I've got 2 magnifying glasses
and tried my very best. Hope it helps or at least, points someone in a good
direction.........Bev
