Well, darn. This is most frustrating.
Sandy, can you account for the difference in our records re the children
of Ambrose CASEY? I have Betty and Lela w/Betty as having married John
YOUNG. You have an Eva CASEY as having married a John YOUNG. Are Betty
and Eva the same people or ??? Do you have any dates? I don't have any
dates. As previous stated, I've not researched the Ambrose CASEY lineage.
Perhaps you have some sort of source that is better and more reliable
than mine?
FYI, there is also a "missing son" for Moses and Elizabeth (COE) CASEY.
He was listed in the 1840, McMinn Co, Tenn, census. As you know, prior to
1850 census records wives and children were merely "chit marks" w/an age
range. I've been unsuccessful in determining who that "missing son" is as
well. I don't have a name.
If you come up w/anything re him I'd appreciate that info as well.
Anyone "out there" have any idea who the "missing son" is? He was
born
somewhere between 1835/1840 in McMinn County, Tennessee.
Many CASEY families had CASEY children living w/the at the time of census
taking. Some of those children aren't in order. I have found that this
usually means that person, listed last though older, is not a child of
that family.
Ambler and Polly (ELLISON) CASEY had several children who have not been
accounted for as yet. There are a couple of pretty solid "speculations.
However, there are many w/o even any speculations.
It's been very difficult research putting this family together; i.e.,
finding records to prove everything and everyone.
As previously posted, I am interested in any and all descendants of
Ambler and Polly. There have to be pieces of info "out there" that can be
put together to come up with additional names and proof/source.
Thank you.

I have no information on Elizabeth Casey. I don't know if she
died
young or
married and grew old. She is a Casey mystery to me still.
