James CASEY (1790)and his wife, Elizabeth Brigitte Whelan (or
variant
spelling thereof) emigrated from Abeyleix to Lochaber, Ottawa, Quebec
before 1829. There is support for the fact that at least their youngest ,
Anthony, ws born in the Buckingham area. Their children were all married
in Canada ... Henry (m. Catherine Burke, March 17, 1835),Denis (m. Helene
Dominique Dunnigan, November 23, 1835),James, Jr, (no spouse found yet),Ann
(m. John Cooligan {sic}, January 20, 1840), Sarah Sally (m. John Cameron,
January 12, 1845) and Anthony (m. Bridget McPike, December 3, 1861).
We believe Sarah Sally and John had three children, Ann (b. 1847),John or
John William (b ??) and James Henry, my g-grandrather (b. 1849-1851) whois
said to have been reared by the Caseys and in fact used the Casey surname
for many years.
Does anyone recognize anyone in this line?
Thanks in advance,
J Fulton
