I am seeking information or connections to William Edgar CASEY, b. 1858,
Caseyville, Mississippi, d. 1932, Trinity, Trinity Co., TX. He married
Louisa BLAIR in Trinity, TX. His mother was Margaret (possibly) GORDON, of
the GORDON family who are subject of the book "Gordons of the Deep South".
He served in the Spanish-American War for only a few months, seeing no
battles, due to the end of the war. William Edgar was found on 1900 Census
in Trinity Co., TX, as boarder of John A. SHIP. His wife was at least 33
years his junior. Their children were all born in Trinity, TX.

William Edgar CASEY had 2 older sisters who died while young, buried in
Caseyville. His family moved to Rodney, MS, which is now a "ghost town",
just prior to his mother's death.
