Hi,
I've got a lot of Casey relations in MA focusing on the Lawrence area (merrimack
valley, near Lowell). Some went to California in the 1930's , but the majority still
reside in the area.
check my website :
www.kevingibbons.com for info.
The interesting thing about the MA and ME connection is that many mill workers from places
like Lawrence and Lowell, and Worcester, and Clinton went North to Maine when the
depression hit. Many were potato farmers (Talk about "out of the frying pan into the
fire". )
FWIW, I'm currently trying to find the birthplace of Patrick Joseph Casey ca. 1865 in
Mayo to Michael and Mary Casey. I've not taken the time to look up griffith's or
contact the Mayo Gen ctr.
Good luck.
Kevin

Subject: Casey surname in ME or MA
Hi List,
I haven't seen any activity since I rejoined so let me post a question.
Is there anyone out there researching the Casey surname with connections
to the states of ME and/or MA?
Thanks,
Scott
