Looking for info for Jeremiah CASEY, born about 1819. He married Catherine
SPILLANE, born about 1824. They were married 11 Feb. 1841. They lived in
Knocknaraha,Aughadown, near Skibereen in county Cork, Ireland, wher they
rented a farm with their cousin Richard Casey. Jeremiah had an uncle named
William (Richards father).They emigrated to New Brunswick about 1849, and
lived in both New Brunswick, Canada, and Calais, Maine. They had the
follwing children:
John, born about 1842 in Ireland
Ellen, born about 1844 in Ireland
Mary, born about 1845 in Knocknaraha,Cork co., Ireland
Catherine, born about 1848 in Knocknaraha,Cork co., Ireland
William, born about 1852 in Calais, Maine
Jeremiah, born 19 Aug. 1854 in Milltown, New Brunswick
Patrick, born about 1857 in Calais, Maine
Margaret, born about 1860 in Flume Ridge, New Brunswick
Timothy, born 20 Feb. 1862 in New Brunswick (He became the Roman Catholic
Bishop in St. John New Brunswick)
Thomas, born 20 May 1864 in Milltown, New Brunswick
I am descended from his son Jeremiah who moved to Lawrence, Massachusetts
about 1904.
