Is anyone on this list researching the surname COSSEY? It has often been
spelled COSEY, CASSEY, CAFFEY (presumably the old=style 's') and other
variations.

Roseanne, (and All)
Glad you're back on the COSSEY name. A bunch of are getting all the info
on the COSSEY names we can, and trying to get them all linked together.
I have it posted on the web, and the surnames can be found at
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Prairie/7578.
All of the COSSEY names have been linked, as some more of my major
lines, but I still have to link the spouses (in the names files). If you
go to my HOME family group sheet, you can get to the "BASENAME" Cossey
also. Over 15,000 names, in over 4,500 family group sheets, linked to
places in ten different sites. (There aren't much of the HAYNES on the
web, even though they're in my database!) These 15,000+ names are from
my database of 70,000+ names.
Most can be traced back to Hardin Co., TN, or as far back on the family
lines tracked, those families are at the same places my COSSEY families
went to in AR and OK.
Over 1,000 COSSEY names and descendants. Hope you visit.
Roseanne, you can e-mail me privately if you need more info.
