I am searching for links to my Casey family. I just cannot seem to connect to
anyone Casey's line but I feel somehow I must connect. My information is as
follows:
Jim Casey came from Ireland sometime in early 1800s. His wife came from
England. They had 11 children and George (their 3rd child) was born between
1875-1881.
George W. Casey (born 1841) in McMinnen County, TN. His family moved to
Missouri in 1842. He served in the Union Army. His unit saw action at Pea
Ridge, Perry Grove and did Guard duty at Little Rock, AR between 1863-1865.
He moved to Texas in 1875, and then to Yell Co., AR, then to Allen, Indian
Territory in 1888, finally moving back to Montgomery Co., AR in 1900 where he
died in 1922. He is buried in Stanley-Standridge Cemetery in AR.
His son William J. Casey was born August 26, 1868. William's mother was Sarah
Manery. William married Carrie Bates. He is buried in Lawton, OK.
Their son George Washington Casey was born in Montgomery Co., AR.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
