of the Cincinnati of Massachusetts. He was captured by Indians and died
in captivity.

Associators and the battle was fought on his farm. His home was a
hospital and his wife nursed the wounded. He was born in Scotland and is
buried in Tennet Churchyard, where his wife also rests.

Robert Stark, Jr. (1762-1830) was in the battle of Blackstock, Eutaw
Springs, and Cowpens. He became distinguished in law, and in 1819 was
Secretary of State of South Carolina, where he died, in Columbia. He was
born in Petersburg, Va.
