Hello:
My Casey Grandmother, Margaret Casey goes back to Isaac Casey and Dicey
Henderson of Spartenburg, SC.
She grew to womanhood and married in Forsyth Co. GA Hicks Martin.
Hicks Martin goes back to Thomas Martin Sr. of NC who also fought at the
battle of Cowpens during the Rev. War.
I joined the DAR under him!
Do any of you on this list have any US Censuses or any proof showing that in
fact Margaret Casey who did in fact marry Hicks Martin to be a daughter of
Isaac Casey and Dicey Henderson?
I would like to find siblings for Grandmother Margaret Casey Martin!
I would like to once and for all prove that Isaac and Dicey were indeed her
parents.
I would like to learn more about my Casey line that I go back to.
Thanks very much for any information.
Gail

Tim, Now this beats all I've ever seen! I wonder how they ever managed
to
acquire bounty land after the war? And all the while their other
brothers
were fighting for their lives and homes in the battles of Kings Mtn. and
Cowpens. It's distressing that my GGrandfather Jesse was one of them.
Yeah,
I'd like to know their sources too.
