Hi Carrie,
The earliest record I have for our Patrick Casey is his Declaration of Intent in 1857
Allegany Co. Maryland. It states that he arrived in US in 1853. He was naturalized in
1860 Cambria Co. Pa. Patrick married Mary Kenny, but we haven't found a marriage
record yet, so not sure if they married in Ireland or US. I have not found him listed on
any shipping lists yet. Did your Daniel travel with a Patrick Casey?
Donna
Hi Donna,
My Daniel Casey was born about 1829 in County of Cork, Ireland and came to
the USA in Oct. 1853, through Boston. He ended up in Wisconsin and married
Johanna Towey in 1858. Do you know where in Ireland your Patrick came from?
And
when and which port in 1853 he arrived? Just wondering? Carrie Bergquist
