Hi Barbara:
A wild guess.....
With the name Napoleon entering into the picture it sounds like he may be
connected to New Brunswick or PEI Caseys. My mom's brother married one of those.
As far as I can tell they are not connected to my line,(except for maybe back in
the 1600's in Ireland) but they may be connected to the Roger
Casey/Caissie/Caissy line. These Caseys left Nova Scotia with the Acadians when
they were expelled .Some even ended up in Louisiana. Many still spell their name
Caissie today. So you may actually be looking for a Laurent Caissie or Caissy in
records.
I took a quick scan through the Caissy website, and there are a couple of
Napoleons but the dates are wrong. There are three seperate huge descendats lists
there. It was easier to look for the wife's maiden name.

I will definately keep my eye open for Lawrence for you though. I have a list of
names to watch for when I'm searching.
I am missing a couple of Casey children who arrived either here in NS or in
Newfoundland with my original John, so you never know.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I will keep my eyes open.
Have a great night
