I am also looking for my CASEY ancestors and I believe we may have
corresponded before about Winnifred. My "Winnifred" was the daughter of my
Great Grandfather Mark CASEY and Bridgett BRENNAN. She was born in Ireland
but I believe about 1840, according to listing on 1860 MN census for age
given. Somewhere I have information that she died before 1863 but not sure
where. Here is the common connection....she had a brother Lawrence born in
Mount ?Hope) Rockaway twp, Morris County, NJ on May 22, 1849. This family
made their way westward and settled in Dakota County, MN in 1855. Do you
know where in Ireland these NJ CASEY'S came from? Or anything else that
would help in my search. Thank you.

Subject: [CASEY-L] Wennifred Casey
I have a Casey, just like all of us.
Winnifred (W'eney in marriage record) Casey, born about 1828, in Ireland,
probably emigrated in mid 1840s and married Patrick Roe in 1851 in Morris
County, New Jersey and probably died shortly thereafter as Patrick Roe
married
again
to Ann Cusick.
Anybody have a connection? There were other Caseys in Morris County,
especially Boonton area but don't know the relationship.
