Hi Mary - been a while - glad to see you on the Casey trail. Also note
the Stansell connection to my Robert Tucker line as well.
I think the Casey connection on Glenn Spradley's query is now referring
to Ritta Casey, daughter of John Casey - still not proven - although
census records
do tend to support this connection. In Glenn's latest query in the CFA
newsletter (1Q2002), he appears to be connecting his line to John P.
Spradley and Ritta
(Casey) Spradley. I do not think the Spradley / Casey connection are 100
% correct to date. He has William Morrison Spradley but census records
have William L. Spradely and other say William Lafayette Spradley. Found
John and Ritta in 1880 as Spradling. Could not find 1870, although
descendants claim this census as well. Sent two emails to Glenn in May /
June, 2002 with no responses.
