Have you ever seen the EARLY Casey's linked to a particular
religion?
Since I'm only an hour from Baltimore, I would try to see if I could
come up with something there, but not sure where to look. Many old
church records around here, any suggestions? I've not seen any
references - Catholic? Methodist? Baptist? Help???
- they were emphatically Primitive Baptist - which came from Armagh
IRELAND or Tyrone IRELAND - (most CASEY families were Catholic from
Dublin or County Cork in the Sooutern Ireland area - WHY were they
in Northern EIRE - look at the English religious and political Ulster
Plantation settlement policies and persecution history. migrations -
or from the GREEN connection in WALES
this may be a very good clue. This may have come from Scotland or Wales
I think in 1725 people were put to death in Maryland for being Catholic
Abner CASEY and Harriet GREEN were married in Baltimore about 1725 or
1726 - so there may be an Episcopal, or Dissenters or Presbyterian or
Baptist historical record - anyone have data?
- also when did Sin Fein (spelling) or each political party originate?
Please post any connections - or your own line per this surname focus:
