Hi,
Recently found out my GGrandmother had been married before she married my
GGrandfather. Had wondered as 1900 census had them married 17 years, she
had had 11 children, 7 living. My Grandfather was the first child of the
second marriage.
Recently found a Daniel Casey b in Michigan in 1877. He could be one of
her children. One found in 6 grave plot she was in, Eugene Casey b 1869,
parents, Daniel Casey and Margaret Danahy. Eugene worked for the
Burlington RR and is buried in Omaha, Nebraska.
Eugene had a brother Daniel, there is also a married woman in the graveplot
who died at age ca 41 or 42, don't have details handy. The mother Margaret
was b 1852 in Co. Cork, Ireland. It is likely husband Daniel was too, or
his parents were. Daniel, Sr. would have died before early 1882. My
Grandfather John Hogan was b Nov 1882, marriage of Margaret and John
occurred in 1881 or early 1882.
Kind of mixed up, isn't it? Don't have the details about all the children
Margaret had but have accounted now for the 7 living in 1900. They were
Casey and Hogan children.
