the Baltimore area. They came over about 1850 (don't know where
they first landed) and were first in Baltimore around that time.
Ellen Ryan Casey arrived from Waterford (?) IRE and brought her
3 youngest children Margaret, James F. & Mary.
Later came Thomas J.and Michael J. They were harness makers by trade.
Occasionally they were found in D.C. Don't know the married names of
Margaret E. & Mary although Mary may have married Gordon Bartholomew.
Michael marr. Mary Jane Owen in D.C. Thomas marr. Margaret D'Oyley
(Dolley, Dolly) & had Mary Ellen (b. 1865), William, Joseph B. Henry
Vincent (b.1866), Ambrose Bernard, Mary (May), & William Joseph.
Thomas & Margaret leave Baltimore with their youngest son @
1875, leaving the other children with Ellen and disappeared. Thomas
returns along to Baltimore ~1905 & then goes back to Ireland to die.
James marr. Levinia Clark & had Charles C. (b.1881) & Gertrude M (b.
