The following information about some old photos appeared on "Somebody's
Links Newsletter" (13 Jan. 2001) through Rootsweb mailing lists. Just
thought I'd pass it along since there are some Caseys in the batch. If
interested, you can follow up directly with the lady who has these photos.
Her information is at the end of the message. Am posting her message in its
entirety. Although there are other surnames besides CASEY, perhaps these
other names may ring a bell if these are your relatives. To clarify--I do
not have these photos, am just the message bearer.

GENEALOGICAL TREASURES FOUND
I have quite a few precious pictures that were passed down to me from my
grandmother. Most have no names on them and some have names that I have not
run across in my research. If you see a connection, I will e-mail copies and
make real copies if there is a match. These pictures were mostly taken in
Cincinnati, Ohio or Louisville, Kentucky. My family names are ANDERSON,
MACY, PADGETT, CASEY, and COFFIN. Others in the collection are PERRY,
RINGGOLD, RECTOR, BEAZELL, and MARCHAND.
* I have identified, John ANDERSON, 1790-1869, Cincinnati;
Helen Anderson MACY, 1885-1961, Clermont County, Ohio -- 10 1/2 months,
young woman and older woman; Frank P. MACY, born 1866 in Wisconsin, died
1886 in New Mexico. The picture was taken in Cincinnati. Henry George MACY
(Frank's brother), born 1869 in Campbell County, Kentucky, died 1895 in
Butler County, Kentucky. Picture taken in Cincinnati. Frank P. MACY and
Henry George MACY may have been living with grandmother, Lydia MACY, in
Cincinnati after the death of their parents. Also I have Louisa R.
ANDERSON, daughter of John ANDERSON and Elizabeth JACOBS (1807-1897), and
"Grandma & Grandpa" JACOBS, Elizabeth's parents.
* Carolyn Margaret TAPLEY (1826-1910), daughter of Elizabeth JACOBS and her
first husband, TAPLEY. Carolyn's husband, George Henry CASEY (1825-1885).
Several pictures of daughters Emma T. CASEY (1866-?) and Priscilla Garner
CASEY (1860-1929). Priscilla Garner CASEY married Henry George MACY, and was
the mother of Helen Anderson MACY.
* Ebenezer S. PADGETT, born 1805 in Cumberland County, New Jersey, died 1867
in Rock County, Wisconsin, lived in Cincinnati until 1860-1864. Louvisa P.
WOODRUFF (PADGETT) was born 1812, Cumberland County, New Jersey, died
Hamilton County, Ohio. The PADGETTs moved to Cincinnati from New Jersey
circa 1833-1836. All of their children died young, including my
great-grandmother at 29 of Consumption [tuberculosis].
* I have Newton, Bob, Walter and Carrie PERRY, and Carrie Perry's house in
Covington, Kentucky. Photos were taken in Covington, except for one of
Walter PERRY taken in Cincinnati.
* Mr. and Mrs. Paul MARCHAND, Covington, Kentucky (possibly a wedding
picture). Frank MARCHAND who looks as if he is in his 80s. "Our Old Kentucky
Home" (house), Alice, Virginia & Trent. Group picture at Lookout Mountain,
Tennessee, 1889. Pictures of women taken in Louisville, Kentucky, and of
couples, men, women and children in Cincinnati, Ohio. Eugene, seven years
and Harold five years-with boxing gloves.
* Middle aged woman taken in San Francisco in the 1920s or 1930s, and a
family picture of a couple with two boys, ages 5-10 taken in Tacoma.
I'd love to get more identified if anyone knows who they are.
