Hi John,
I'm learning that anything is possible with this type of research and
group of people (the Irish). I thought I had all the siblings to my
Eugene accounted for until about a year ago when I discovered two or
three in a nearby MA town. No Butlers in the family but I THINK both of
Eugene's sisters married Butler brothers! I think the marriage was in MA
and they died there. In any leg of my tree, I don't know of any southern
connection. My Casey-Ahearn area is in the south or SW approaching the
Cork border.
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
My GGF was born in Greenmount Townland, Molough Parish, Co.
Tipperary in
1831. He and his brother William (b. 1833) came to the US in the
1850s
but they went to SC to work on the Stumphouse Tunnel for the
railroad.
They were two of ten children born to Richard Casey and Mary Butler
in
Greenmount. Not sure if some siblings may have gone to MA.
John
