Hi Scott,
I've got Caseys from both Maine and Mass.
My line descends from Jeremiah Casey, born abt. 1819. He married Catherine
Spillane, born abt. 1824. They lived in Big Marsh,Knocknaraha,Aughadown, near
Skibbereen in County Cork Ireland. They emigrated to New Brunswick about
1849. They and their children lived in both St. Stephens New Brunswick and
Calais Maine.Their son Jeremiah married Mary Morrison. They later moved to
Lawrence Massachusetts about 1904.Jeremiah and Mary had a son named Joseph
who was a war hero in world war 1. Joseph was my grandfather.
I also have another line of Caseys from Drishane parish in Millstreet
district of Cork who moved to the Lawrence area.
There is another line of Caseys that is descended from the uncle of my first
Jeremiah, some of them came to the U.S. and settled in Bayonne New Jersey,
and some in Concord New Hampshire.
Any possible connections?
Bernie

I have many from Worcester (Co?) and a g'uncle died there ca. 1943
If you've visited Milford you'll see the Casey handywork in the Old St.
Mary's Cemetery.
Do you know when they arrived in the US and from where specifically?
Thanks,
Scott

Hello Caseys & Casey Hunters,
I've recently rebuilt my personal web page, and have added a Genealogy
page on which I plan to collect photos and information about my own
family hunt. But I would also like it to become a useful resource for
any Casey family hunters who might stumble across it, and so will be
adding links to sites relevant to Casey family genealogists. I have no
ambitions for becoming 'Cindi's List', but if I can share some good
links to other Casey pages, I will be glad to. Current links include;
The Casey Surname DNA Project, David Casey's Genealogy page, and the
archives of this mailing list. Do you have any suggestions for other
Casey links? I would love to hear them.
http://casey.com/
Follow the 'Genealogy' link from this page. And if you do drop by,
please sign the guest book. So far all of the Casey's I've collected
have been the first-name sort :-/
All the best,
Chris Casey
