I have a Casey, just like all of us.
Winnifred (W'eney in marriage record) Casey, born about 1828, in Ireland,
probably emigrated in mid 1840s and married Patrick Roe in 1851 in Morris
County, New Jersey and probably died shortly thereafter as Patrick Roe married again
to Ann Cusick.
Anybody have a connection? There were other Caseys in Morris County,
especially Boonton area but don't know the relationship.
I am on the list but I don't post much. Nobody knows anything about my
Casey family. I have been doing geno research for 37 years and have most of
my lines back 15 or more generations, but my Casey's dropped in from the sky
I suppose. Sinclair Casey born 1799 of Kanawha/Mason Co. was my gg
grandfather. I have everything after him but nothing prior. 1799 iss
recent history to me. But where did he come from?

I have family in Vermont that I can't seem to find either. They are not
Casey's. When did Vermont start keeping birth and death records? What
about tax records or land deeds? Did he live most of his life in Cornwall
or elsewheres?

County, VT. Some researchers state he was born in Cornwall, VT but I
can't seem to verify that or find and Casey's via the census in the
area. Just another Casey mystery.....

Looking for John Casey b. about 1784 possibly Iredell NC d. unknown buried Yadkin Co. NC private family Cemetery
Wife: Jane Walker b. about 1786 South Carolina (according to Census).
Now if we just try to find all the John Caseys around the area we will have plenty to talk about.
Also looking for any Casey family members with the name Melmuth.
Does anyone know the meaning of the name Melmuth?
Thank you Curt,
It is my opinion that if one doe's not participate or contribute when
they can, then they have no right to gripe when some one puts something
out that they don't like. This list acts like a bunch of lurkers.
Nuff said, Wanda
Went to Waukesha County of Wisconsin and found my gr-grandfather's intention
to become a Citizen - listed under David Casey instead of Daniel Casey. It
stated on Nov. 1, 1858 that he was born in 1829 (most of my other records stated
1825) and born in Ireland, and that he came to the USA through Boston in
October of 1853 (most of my other sources had said 1842, 1843 & 1850). I
feel this is a great break through for me. I did not find his actual
citizenship papers but from looking at others they didn't show any additional
information. My big mystery is still where in Ireland did he come from - his civil war
papers said - County of Cork. But where??? Any suggestions or ..... please
let me. Thanks Carrie cberg625(a)aol.com
Wanda if my Casey's had been your Casey line I would have responded. Please
don't be discouraged. Keep trying.

IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT
PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE
OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.
AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF
OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL
COMPANIES.
THEREFORE, MAY 19TH HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT UP THEIR ASS"
DAY AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF
GASOLINE THAT DAY.
THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS MANY
PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT.
WAITING ON THIS ADMINISTRATION TO STEP IN AND CONTROL THE PRICES IS NOT
GOING TO HAPPEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REDUCTION AND CONTROL IN PRICES
THAT THE ARAB NATIONS PROMISED TWO WEEKS AGO?
REMEMBER ONE THING, NOT ONLY IS THE PRICE OF GASOLINE GOING UP BUT AT
THE SAME TIME AIRLINES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, TRUCKING
COMPANIES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES WHICH EFFECTS PRICES ON
EVERYTHING THAT
IS SHIPPED. THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING MATERIALS, MEDICAL
SUPPLIES ETC. WHO PAYS IN THE END? WE DO!
WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE DAY,
WE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.
SO DO YOUR PART AND SPREAD THE WORD. FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO EVERYONE YOU
KNOW. MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND MAKE MAY 19TH A DAY THAT THE CITIZENS OF
THE UNITED STATES SAY "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"
Are you still working on the Casey family below? I am
interested in the David Casey there in the early 1800's.
