I have decided to do a web page for Casey and Allied Families I have done
this because of the research that has been done and I need to share what you
have given to me and what I have accumulated. I am no expert on any one line
of the Casey's other than Christopher Casey b. 1754. m. Sarah Smith. his son
John Casey m. Drucilla Hill. I do know alot of Randolphs lines as I live in
IL near Jefferson Co IL and Johnson Co IL. I also coordinate the Johnson Co
IL web page on rootsweb.
I would like family web page links to the Abner and Peter Casey line. When
you go to the format you will see Casey and Allied Families most of this
research is based on my cousin Walter E. Casey manuscript Casey and Allied
Families. There was much Walter had done with cousins and distant cousins by
mail , it is my turn to keep it going. I have found mistakes in the
manuscript and have corrected what I believe is wrong but of course like any
book or research there will be differnt points of view. That is what is
needed someone has the link to correct an incorrect research. After looking
at three milk crate cartons of files and many gedcoms and mail I hope you
all feel I am in the right direction of wanting to help.
When you go to the web page it will have 1st page , then the origination of
the name Casey, Abner Casey and Allied Families, and Peter Casey and Allied
Families. My program is to have a page distinctive to Abner and Peter and
thier children. You see so many pages of family I thought this might be more
user friendly in the long run. If you want to contribute, link or help in
anyway email me timc(a)midwest.net .
I want to thank all of you on this list I know sometime thru the last 5
years I have connected to someone on this list and you have helped very
much.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Taken from Paper, Tulare County California. Sorry I don't know the date of
the Obit.
Eleanor Casey
Homemaker
Graveside services for Eleanor Casey, 91, will be 10 am Tuesday at Exeter
District Cemetery, Exeter CA., born in Van-Buren, AR. She died Saturday.
Cause pending.
She married Clifton Casey in Oklahoma in 1921. They moved to California
in 1945. He died in 1964. She was a homemaker and a past member of the
Church of Christ in Farmersville.
She is survived by four sons. Loyd Casey and Clinton Casey both of Madera;
Dahl Casey of LaPalma and Raligh Joe Casey of Milpitas; a daughter, Carol
Brandenburg; a sister Kathleen Gill of Mannford, OK.; 17 grandchildren; and
13 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Hadley Funeral Chapel in Visalia.
Oh so sorry, if I offended you, I had clipped her obituary many years ago,
(without the date of course) and thought I would try to help someone out. I
have been looking for my Caseys for so long and with the help of some very
good Casey's have finally found my Hetney Casey's Father and Mother, so I try
my best to help others to find theirs. I live in Tulare Co. also so that's
why I had access to your mothers Obituary thru the local newspaper.
Bonnie

We are also looking for a Daniel Casey from Lawrence, MA , born bef 1856 in
IRL. He married Ann Theresa O'Connor, also b. IRL. I know of only one
child, John F. Casey, b abt 1876 in Lawrence, d. 30 Mar 1924 in Lawrence.
John was 48 at the time of his death. John is the grandfather of my
partner, Bill Casey. We have no information about Daniel, not even the year
of his death so that we can write for a death certificate from Lawrence to
try to find more information. Bill & his brother think that the family was
from Cork. Only one of John's children is still living (in the house that
John built) but she is not very helpful at times. John died just before her
16th birthday. John's children were Francis, Mary, Miriam, Agnes, &
Gertrude Casey.
Ann Theresa O'Connor had at least 4 brothers:the twins, Thomas "Tom
Connors" O'Connor and Daniel 'Dan' O'Connor, Timothy O'Connor, and John
O'Connor (the twins were professional basball players in the 19th century),
and at least one sister, Minnie O'Connor Dwyer. I include this in case it
helps someone recognize the family.
