Do you know anything about his ancestors, siblings, where he lived before
Pendleton or was he born there? Anything, even a hunch might prove helpful.
I've been researching my earliest Case ancestor for a while and am having
trouble finding his ancestors so I decided to research all the other Cases
(there are not many) and see what I come up with. Surely they are related.
My earliest Case, Isaac Case, was born 1766-1770. He lived in Laurens Co.,
SC, part of the 96 District, and next to Newberry Co. where lots of my other
surnames came from. One thing that amazes me is that there are so few Case
researchers. :( I'll let you know if I find anything (be sure you keep me
current on your address) and here's my Yahoo address. If my old one changes
you can always reach me a Yahoo. bcedmundson(a)yahoo.com Can you share with
me any of the given names that were passed down? Thanks for replying to my
query. :)

Barbara,
Not really any information. I have long suspected that he is my
ancestor -
that ended up in Lincoln County, Mississippi. I am currently in
school
and
don't have the time to pursue the theory. I also probably
shouldn't speak
without taking the time to review all of my notes, but I got excited,
because
I thought that I was the only one interested in this Thomas. I went
to
the
archives in Columbia, SC a couple of years ago, (with very little
time to
work) and did not find anything. I haven't worked on this since, so it's
all
from memory, but I think I found him later in Georgia OR suspected
that I
would because my Thomas Case was said to have been "of Franklin, Georgia."
Please keep me informed if anything turns up.
