Court Record, Page 76--6 April, 1725: Adms. granted to Sarah Case, widow.
Page 153--2 May, 1727: Isaac Case, 17 years of age, and Mary Case, 16
years of age, chose Mr. John Bidwell to be their guardian. Recog., œ100.
And this Court appoint Sarah Case to be guardian to John Case, age 14
years, Lucy, age 11 years, Thomas 9 years, Abigail 7 years, Timothy and
Sarah 4 years, and Phineas 3 years of age, children of John Case,
deceased. Recog., œ300.
Page 154: Sarah Case, Adms. on the estate of John Case, late of
Hartford, decd., exhibited an account of her Adms.: Paid in debts and
charges, œ68-03-07. Whereas, it appears that there is paid out of that
estate the sum of œ68-03-07 more than has been received; and whereas,
the inventory of sd. estate amounts to the sum of œ361-02-02;
subtracting œ68-03-07, there remains œ292-17-07 to be distributed. Order
to Sarah Case, widow relict, œ27-16-02, with dower; to Isaac Case,
eldest son, œ53-00-06, which is his double portion of sd. estate; to
John, Thomas, Timothy Orpheus (Alpheus), Mary, Abigail and Sarah Case,
the rest of the children, to each of them œ26-10-03. And appoint Timothy
Cowles, Joseph Pitkin and John Meakins, distributors.

age, son of John Case, late of Hartford, made choice of Joseph Cowles of
Hartford to be his guardian. Recog., œ100.
Page 12 (Vol. XIII) 21 July, 1737: Sarah Case, now 16 years of age,
daughter of John Case, late of Hartford, chose Joseph Cowles to be her
guardian. Recog., œ100.
Page 65--6 May, 1740: Timothy Case, 18 years of age, son of John Case,
chose Samuel Smith of Hartford to be his guardian. Recog., œ200.
Page 45 (Vol. XIV) 3 July, 1744: Alpheus Case, a minor, now 20 years of
age, son of John Case, chose Ensign James Church of Hartford to be his
guardian. Recog., œ500.
Page 57--21 April, 1745: Disbrow Spencer of Hartford, in right of his
wife Sarah, who was the widow and relict of John Case, late of Hartford,
decd., now moves to this Court that the undivided lands of the sd. decd.
may be set out to her for her improvement during life: Whereupon this
Court appoint Col. Joseph Pitkin, Capt. Jonathan Hills and Lt. Samuel
Welles of Hartford to set out to the sd. widow 1-3 part of sd. outlands
by bounds and monuments, and make return thereof to this Court.
