I’ve tested at the 3 major sites and also a newer one. Y is most useful for paternal
lineage and Full Genetic Sequence [FGS] maternal, both are available at FTDNA. Autosomal
DNA is available at all three sites. Family Tree DNA =

prices, and read what they offer. The first 2 are most useful for Genetic Genealogy, and
I’m currently awaiting results from Living DNA, for deeper details for folks with UK
ancestry. What’s most helpful is an understanding of why you are testing and what you
