Here's my Case post. Saw a guy in the Surprise Arizona Sam's Club yesterday took
my breath away. He looked exactly like my dad (a Case) did 17 years ago. I talked to him
and he's not a Case but I'm sure there's a link somewhere as my dad looked
like his dad. I wish I had taken a photo of him.
Thank you!

Good day!
I think Marilyn is right! It's almost as if there is no Case DNA or all the guys
died off! This is mine and my dad's saga! His grandmother Case only had two brothers
and both died with no living male Case lines. When going on ancestry, it's like the
only Case connections I find are from 32BC! ;). Seriously, the trees list people back to
the pre-Revolutionary times and I seriously doubt their accuracy when only one source is
cited. So frustrating!
BTW, my dad and I are on GEDmatch. Look for the kits: ks011201_KS and ks011201_CS.

William Case are Y 111 matches. Our Case surname goes back at least 250 years in PA.
Sadly, our fathers never met and both have passed on. Nancy primarily began using
autosomal DNA shared matches that were at the edge of confirmability, but we had a few.
She noticed while reviewing these few shared cousins trees they had some surnames in
common with each other, including Kuhns, Eck, Schmidt, Meckler, Adams, and Kehs. Think
about that last one and how it might be spelled??! Kays, Keys, ah Kase or maybe Case? So,
through these folks and their support and cooperation, we found a tree with Kehs in it,
from eastern PA, (Nancy and my tree began in western PA). There was a family that stayed
on and thank goodness had Kehs living males, particularly Martin who was willing to test,
his results were an exact 37 GD-0 match to my Dad and minus 1 to Nancy's. So to your
members, there is also a small chanc!
e some of you may tie to this once Case = now
Kehs, German 1750's PA lineage too! We would love to find more of you!! So think out
of the box, it may be spelled, in a number of ways!!

father or uncle to Y test. Ultimately we needed that as proof, however, autosomal cousins
was what lead us down that long trail! Seriously consider alternate spellings including
Cass and Casse! You listed no dates , sometimes local town county Deeds and wills might
help. You've probably done that though!!
