From experience on my mother's side of the family, only the males
with the
surname of Eden are tested. Women can be tested but the cost goes up
about
three times over the cost of testing a male.

Can someone enlighten me on how this DNA thing works? For instance, my
son's father's mother (my son's grandmother) was a Case. Can he be tested
or does he actually have to be born into the direct line, i.e., with the
surname of Case?
