Help! Trying to confirm family information and get to the next level
(Aren't we all). My ggg-grandfather and mother died of Cholera somewhere between
1847 and 1853 somewhere around Crawfordsville, Indiana leaving two children a
boy and girl. I have looked for the family members in the 1850 Census and
have not been able to find them. I have searched the online burial records and
put out several queries. From some of the queries and some undocumented
sources, I have been given found that all the immediate relatives were deceased
by this time and the children were fostered out. My gg-grandfather indicated
that his sister and he were separated and that she did not live to adulthood.
My g-grandfather did a lot of research on this back in the mid 1900's but
there is still a lot of holes. Can anyone give me some ideas of where I can go
or who I can ask to fill this in? I'm looking for information on the
Cholera Epidemic in the area (timelines, where victims were buried, etc). Burial
lookups from the area. Maybe even death records from the area. Or anything
else related.
Here is the information I have gathered. Some is unconfirmed and some may
be inaccurate because of the situation. My gg-grandfather lied about his age
so that he could join in the Civil War and several records contradict each
other on his age.

The marriage of William and Nancy is documented in Indiana records. I have
the parent's of William as Ebenezer and Agnes (Nancy) BALDRIDGE CASE with
siblings - Joseph, Peggy F and John. I am also looking to find the parents of
Nancy CALDWELL.
I don't have time right now to go to the area so any help with online
research would be best, but right now I'm just looking for direction.
I am working with my uncle on the Case DNA project to see if we can
eliminate/support the connections from William to Henry Case. But I am also looking
for supporting documentation to that end.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
