I posted this obit (below) today on a Welsh genealogy list and got this info back: (note
correct spelling of town)
Please find attached the record of Frederick W Case
birth. His mother's surname is given as MacQuire and
the reference is Volume 11a No. 1391 Pontypridd.
Pontypridd is the registration district for
Llantrisant Glamorgan

FREDERICK W. CASE
Frederick W. Case, 64, husband of Betty L. Blackiston Case of Bel Air, died Thursday, May
31, at Fallston General Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Llantricient, Wales, he was a former jockey and well-known horse trainer on the
Maryland, New Jersey and Florida circuit. In his late years, he was the yearling manager
for Country Life Farm near Bel Air. He was an active and lifetime member of the American
Legion Harford Post 39.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Case is survived by a daughter, Constance A. Basl and two
granddaughters.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 2, at 11 a.m. in the Foster Funeral Home,
Bel Air, with T. Russell Gibson officiating. Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers were Gary Bunker, Kenneth Gilley, Gregory Henson, John Schafer,
James Jackson, and Louis --ombaugh. (can't read first letter).
