I'm not familiar with the CASE CLEARING HOUSE you mention in your e-mail.
How does one go about getting into that? My Case ancestors lived in and
around the Sherman, Denison, Gainesville Texas area. Appreciate directions
on getting to the Case Clearing House.

Hi Larry,
The PAF file came through just fine. Thank you for sending it. Doesn't
look like we have any common Cases. Are you familiar with Case Clearing
House on line? They have the entire family as researched by Ruth Cost
Duncan
in a downloadable format. I breezed through it to see if your family was
there, but altho' a lot of similar names, I couldn't find the exact same
ones with the dates you indicated. No Nehemiah, but Thomas is a family
name
and there are John Wesley Cases listed. I have a similar problem with
Duncan's Cases. My Buel is not listed anywhere in her genealogy, although
his father, grandfather, etc. are. And I can't connect them with extant
records in Delaware County, NY. I scanned the rest of your names - just in
case - and found 2 items of interest. RIN #4580 Mary Eaton - if Eaton is
the
correct last name, might connect to Francis Eaton from the Mayflower. You
also have Woods - as do I. I have a Keziah Wood m. John Hoyt. She was born
in 1732 on Long Island, NY. You don't have her, but I don't know her
antecedents, so if you ever come across that name, I'd love to have the
info.
Thanks for your help. By the way, who is Alma Case?
I received a request for your paf file, but I won't send it. I'll forward
the email to you and you can decide if you wish to send it or not.
Thanks for your help. :-)

No, I'm not from that line. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if my
ancestors
couldn't even spell tractor, much less invent them! (I'm kidding, we're
not
really all that dumb.) I'm sending you my Personal Ancestor File, You can
sort through it and see if there's something you can use. It doesn't
sound
like we have any Cases in common, but I have quite a list of them. I will
send it on a separate e-mail, as I'm not too proficient on this computer.
Larry

Do you have info on the J.I. Case line? I have "oral info" that says this
family descended from a son of Buel Case (son of Ephraim Buel Case and
g.son
of Roger Case - all of Simsbury who migrated to Walton, Delaware Co., NY
in
late 1700-early 1800's.) I've not been able to prove this one way or the
other. Would appreciate any input. Thanks.

No. That must be the J.I. Case line, the tractor people, who left for
Ohio.
Our family stayed in Connecticut until my husband's great-grandfather lit
off for California at the turn of the last century, just in time for the
San
Francisco earthquake.
