Just got my email back and running after it refused to send anything out.
By the way, BTW stands for "by the way" ;o) I haven't seen your PAF file
yet but I will let you know when it arrives.
Btw, my husband's name is also William Case.

Thanks for the update. I'm pretty much out of date with a lot of
things,
specifically; would it insult you to know that I have no idea what BTW
means? John W Case was probably John Wesley Case of which there were at
least two, one of who was my great uncle. (My grandfather's brother.)
They
were born in the plains states, (Kansas and Missouri and maybe Illinois
too.)

Subject: [CASE-FAMILY] Albert Case, son of Peter & Hannah Case
Albert Case, son of Peter & Hannah Case, born in NY and son Albert was b.
in
PA.
They were living in Pine Twp., Crawford Co., PA in 1850. Pardon, Peter's
brother and family were living with them. A few homes away was another
brother, John.
They all end up sooner or later in Michigan.
(There was an Albert H. Case living with Solomon Walker in 1860, Sodus,
Wayne Co., NY pg 154)
And we don't know what happened to Hannah.
Today, searching for ALBERT, I find one at the Auburn Prison in Cayuga
Co.,
NY. Says he is 20 in the 1870 Census, but born in Mich. That could be a
mistake overlooked.
BTW, there was a John W. Case there, age 25, born New York, a farmer.
And
an Abraham Case, age 50, from NY on the previous page.
Does anyone out there have any knowledge of Hannah, or this Albert in 1860
or 1870?
Is anyone from Cayuga Co., NY with a working knowledge of getting prison
records?
Thanks, Lynn
