My research shows that his children were--Jeremiah(aka Jerry) B1827 (my
ancestor),Homer (aka Oemer)B1833,Betsey B1842,Maria B1842,Nancy
(Rice)B1822,John Alexander B1830, Fanny (Chase)B1828--It's hard to find
documentation because Ohio did not keep birth records till 1867 & census
only named head by name. Mother Amarella M. Neale (aka McNeale) B.1796. I
have more non-sourced info if you want it.

I have Erastus Case on my Personal Ancestry Files that was born on
that
date. I have his ancestors listed back to the 1500's, but I have no
evidence that he had children. (I'm sure he did, it's just that I haven't
found any proof yet.)

Subject: [CASE-FAMILY] Erastus Case
I am applying for membership in DAR & have reached an impasse. I need to
document the relationship between Erastus Case B.8/1/1796 in Barkhamsted,
CT.,D.1853 (Ohio) & his son, Jeremiah (aka Jerry) B. 1827 D.3/1904
(Ohio)--I
have gotten the lineage from
ancestry.com but unable to get docs. to
support. Ohio did not have birth records until 1867 & the early census
only
lists by name the family head. Would appreciate any help.
