The National Archives contain a Asahel Case from Ct request for pension.
However I believe it shows as a private. Don't know if the same. You can
find this application in his handwriting (hard to read) on line in the
Heritage Quest data base available through most libraries. Series M805, Roll
168, Image 469, File S16068, Pages 10. Hope this is your guy. Duke Case
