I have recently been working on my greatgrandfather's line and have
found that his family may have come from Clermont Co., area of Ohio. I
have found two gentlemen, a George Dansberry married to Mary CASE on
8/6/1863 and a Francis Dansberry married to Elizabeth A. CASE. These
two ladies were probably sisters, but I know nothing else about them,
except for their marriages in Clermont Co. My father does remember
hearing from his great aunt that the mother's name was CASE, so finding
these two ladies may be the line I have been searching for. I am
believing that George Dansberry and Mary Case are the parents of my
great grandfather, Walter Dansberry, born 4/1881 in Wisconsin. There
were 12 other children born but I know of only two others by name. A
Sarah Dansberry who married ? Luther and was living in La Crosse
Wisconsin, and Ella Dansberry who was born 1876 in Ohio married
Frederick Frohoek and lived in Wisconsin. The Dansberry family moved
from Ohio to Wisconsin sometime between 1876-1881. If anyone has any
information on this Case family living in Clermont Co., Ohio, I would
enjoy hearing back from you. Am especially looking for information on
any of the line that may have migrated from this part of Ohio and
settled in La Crosse, Wisconsin. If anyone has anything that might help
discover children of either of these two marriages, or if either
migrated to Wisconsin, would be most appreciative hearing back from you.
Thanks for any assistance. Holly M. Snead snead(a)bellsouth.net
