I don't know if this will help. I have the following from Simsbury Town
Records transcribed by Albert C. Bates:
page 28 - Samuel Case the sone of Samuel Case was born 24th day of
January 1695
page 128 - Samuel Case the sone of Samuel Case was born August 11th 1736
page 133 - Samuel Case and Vnice Burr were joined together in marriage
July 5th 1728
page 194 - Samuel Case Junr: of Simsbury and Violet Burr of Farmington
were joined in marriage April 7th 1757
page 208 - Pelatial Case the sone of Samuel Case junr; by Violet his
wife was born in Simsbury ye: 28th: of Aug: 1768.
I did not type it exactly as published. For example, Samuel in many
cases was written Sam ll. It would appear that there were indeed three
Samuels. The initial Samuel. Samuel, son of Samuel b. in 1695 and Samuel
Jr., son of Samuel b. 1736.
From "The History of Ancient Windsor Volume II" by Henry R. Stiles:
Samuel Case Jr. m. Violet Burr, 7 Apr., 1757, child 4. Peletiah, bp. 4
Sept., 1768.
I hope this is of some value.

Subject: Re: Pelatiah Case 1768
I found reference to Pelatiah Case in NE Hist Genealogical Register
Vol 71:
Pelatiah ye child of Samuel Case Jr., born Sept 4, 1768. Question:
how do I
know this is the same Pelatiah (m-Appia Loomis), father of Martin,
Pelatiah
Jr., Chauncey, etc.
An earlier post said that Pelatiah was s/o Samuel, gs/o Samuel
and
ggs/o Samuel. It does not feel right for there to be 3 Samuels in a
row then
from Pelatiah on down in myline, the first name to never appear
again.
Got an
explanation?
I would appreciate any information forward and backward on
Pelatiah
Case b
1768. Anyone have inf. on a Salon Homer Case from Wisc.? or a Warren
Case
from
Halfday, Ill.
