Thanks for the reply. That surely could be the right Calvin and Hannah.
Ralph Case continues to puzzle me. He is a brother of my great-grandfather,
and the only one of that family that I can't find a "little information"
about. I don't know if the Ralph in the 1880 Minnesota census is the one I
am looking for, but it is the only lead I have.

There is a Calvin Case who married Hannah Chipman, 24 Dec 1829, Essex, VT
(from Vermont Vital Records). I have a hypothesis as to Calvin's parentage,
but am not at all sure of it. I have no information on Ralph Case.
