A CHRISTMAS TAIL
by Janet H. Ramos
'Tis the night before Christmas and all through the house
the only thing stirring is one little mouse.
It's tail is attached to a 486
and it scampers about doing all kinds of tricks!
It inserts and views and edits and pastes,
it copies and centers and changes the space
It prints and it cuts and enlarges the fonts
and changes the format to whatever it wants!
It sets Headers and Footers and sets up the Charts;
makes room for inserting all the ClipArt;
It adds borders and columns and checks on the spelling
and corrects the words without ever telling!
It arranges the icons and splits the screens;
it tiles and cascades -- (whatever that means!)
It zooms and it highlights and bullets and sorts
it finds and replaces whatever's been lost!
But what it does BEST, is making new friends
through the wonders of E-mail and all that it lends
To giving and sharing our interests and facts
to helping each other in sending a FAX!
A single click here and a double click there,
and this little mouse appears anywhere
That you have determined that it should be
to open the world for you to see!
On this Christmas Eve three cheers to the mouses
who've sent lots of e-mail to all of our houses!
They just love keeping in touch this new way;
it's becoming THE GAME that all mouses play!
Merry Christmas!
