Sherry,
Was Giles W. Case in Franklin County, OH? I am a descendant of Levi PINNEY
and Samuel BEACH, both original proprietors of Worthington, OH and members of
the Scioto Co. Samuel BEACH was married to Desiah CASE and there were at
least two other CASE families among these Scioto Land Company proprietors. I
have my own direct line with siblings, but I also know of several resources
for other lines. Two things make me think I might be able to help you. The
name "Miles" shows up in the descendants of my Samuel BEACH. Also, there is a
large contingent of the CASE family at Simsbury, CT for several generations
prior to immigrating to Worthington in 1804. I have the Simsbury records and
there are at least 6 or 7 entries for "Giles" in the Simsbury records. If you
have anything at all to connect your Giles to Worthington, OH, we could hook
him up and you would probably have a royal descent. CASE is a "FUN" family.

Thought I'd try one more time. Looking for Giles W. Case, born
approximately 1814 in Ohio, married Terrissa ? I'm guessing around 1831 or
1832. Their children were Betsey, Cicero L., Dwight, Emmory, Farrington
(Frank), Orpha, Gilbert, and George. On 1860 census Giles was married to
someone else and had at least two more sons, Albert F. Case (also called
Abner or Shorty) who married Mary Sweeny, and Miles Case. Miles had a son
named Miles Jr. Farrington (Frank) or Miles had a daughter named Lillie
who
married and Ott. Any help appreciated.
