I looked through the S. C. Cemetery
Books while at library Wednesday in Newberry, SC and came across
this:
Buried at HAWKINS FAMILY CEMETERY, across from Brushy Creek School in
Greenville, SC are the following CASES:
1. JEFFERSON D. CASE, born Aug. 4, 1855, died July 10, 1922, and wife,
HARRIETT E. CASE, born July 9, 1860, died May 21, 1924. (Found on page
161).
2. BONNIE MAE CASE, born May 23, 1891, died February 15, 1915, wife of B.
E. THOMPSON. (Found on page 164) (This is my Great-Aunt).
3. THURMAN T. CASE, born November 23, 1888, d. July 13, 1971 and wife, EVA
E. REID CASE, born June 21, 1891, died September 5, 1931. (Found on page

1933. (Found on page 166)

December 31, 1942. (Found on page 166)
6. BRENDA LEE CASE, born February 6, 1966, died May 26, 1972. (Found on
page 285).
Why was Bonnie Mae Case (my great-Aunt), buried close to these Case people
and in
the
SAME HAWKINS family cemetery? Is Jefferson D. Case and wife, Harriett
E.
Case the brother and his wife of my Dr. John Knox Stimpson Case?
WHO is Thurman T. Case and wife Eva E. Reid Case? Is this TAL? OR, Is this
Dr. John's brother? Somehow, I am connected to all THESE CASES. Would
appreciate any reply. Thanks, Carole
